If you love food, this weekend brings plenty to enjoy with three exciting festivals happening near Hua Hin. Each event will celebrate local flavors, seafood specialties, and the cultural charm of the region.

 

Cha-am Shellfish & Squid Festival
📍 Cha-am Beach Viewpoint
From 13–20 September, Cha-am hosts its 24th annual Shellfish and Squid Festival. Visitors can taste freshly cooked seafood, join night squid fishing activities, and enjoy free evening concerts by top Thai performers. Local vendors will also set up stalls along the beach, adding to the lively seaside atmosphere.

 

 

Saranwithee Festival in Prachuap Bay
📍 Saranwithee Pier, Prachuap Khiri Khan
Happening on 12–13 September, this event brings a colorful mix of attractions including a hot air balloon display over Saranwithee Bridge, stunning illuminated views at night, and live mini-concerts. From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., guests can enjoy a wide selection of regional dishes and fresh seafood right by the water.

 

 

Ban Krut Gastronomy Festival
📍 Ban Krut Beach, Bang Saphan
Running from 12–14 September, Ban Krut Beach will host the second edition of the provincial gastronomy fair under the theme “Mother’s Taste.” More than 100 food stalls will be set up, along with cooking competitions, live music, family-friendly games, and discounted fresh shrimp sales. A crowd favorite is the interactive “Fun Shrimp Scoop.” Entry is free.

Together, these festivals highlight the rich culinary diversity of Prachuap Khiri Khan province, supporting local communities while promoting gastronomy tourism in the area.
